  • The Amplex Detector

A Scientific Instrument of complete stability.
Essential to the serious experimenter. Can be used in Perikon, cat's whisker crystal, or steel carborundum form.
Real micrometrical control of contact and easy adjustment. Cups can be turned or raised without loosening screws or disturbing electrical contact, and every point on the crystal can be tried. Its perfect stability renders it invaluable in all valve circuits employing a crystal detector.
Price on ebonite base with terminals, complete with Zincite and Bornite, or super-crystal and gold cats whisker, or with screw cups without crystals. 4/6 each.
