  • TR1491 is a medium range good looking receiver with 7 Silicon transistors and 2 Germanium in the audio amp. The FM tuner is using printed coils which is quite unusual in this kind of receiver, as a consequence it is impossible to have a good calibration over the complete 87 to 104MHz band ... The overall performance is acceptable.
