  • The Crescent 1000 Series Wire Recorder made by Crescent Industries, Inc., Chicago, is a combination record player and magnetic recorder-reproducer. The standard spool gives approximately an hour of continuous recording. There are different chassis like C-1000 Series, M-1000 Series and E-1000 Series. The CWR30 and E-1000 series use the WR21-B Pickup arm and pivot spring assemly and the C-1000 and M-1000 series use the WR50 pickup arm and pivot spring assembly. The motor can be for 105-125 volts, 60 cycles (standard) or ordered for 220 volts 60 cycles. Both tensions can be ordered for 50 cycles.
