  • Shown in "The Crosley Broadcaster" September 15, 1930 on page 16 with a picture are the models "The NEW Buddy", "The Pal", "The Mate", "the new leadership series" with "The Director" and "The Arbiter". The new Buddy is a table top model, the others are four Lowboys. The Crosley model "Pal" is mentioned October 1930 in the "The Crosley Broadcaster" on page 15 - with a price of 74.50 $ with tubes, same as in September. Pal and Mate have the same receiving set and power speaker. Radio Collector's Guide 1921-1932 lists on page 54 for 1930 a model Pal 53F for $ 69.50 (Style C, 1,5, A, SG -2-1) and for 1931 and 1932 (mixed) on page 205 a "Pal" (only T for table and D for dynamic speaker). Therefore we list two models.
