  • Notes
  • The Crosley Playtime Jr. is an AC operated 5 tube BC band receiver installed into a Grandfather Clock.

The 135 chassis was used in various Philco models:

    Model Chassis Cabinet
    Litlfella 135 Table Model
    Litlboy 135 Lowboy Console
    Playtime Jr. 135 Grandfather Clock

The Crosley Radio Service Manual 1943 Sets and Earlier states that the Playtime Jr. model uses the 135 chassis.  There are, however, other Playtime Jr. sets that reportedly have 124 and 125 chassis. The Crosley manual states that the "Playtime" model used various chassis (126-1, 124-1, 134-1).  The 125 chassis is very similar to the 135 chassis and uses the same tube lineup, but the 125 chassis does NOT have a trim capacitor in the 2nd IF transformer while the 135 chassis has 1 trim capacitor in the 2nd IF transformer.
