  • Notes
  • The Datong FL-3 is designed specifically to improve reception of SSB, CW, RTTY and AM signals in interference conditions. It features twelve poles of tunable active filtering, independent low and high-pass filters, and a built-in independent notch filter. It can remove "monkey chatter" or "splatter" to SSB signals, remove heterodyne interference to AM and SSB signals, optimize bandwidth for RTTY, FAX and SSTV reception. Simple push-button selection of the four main operating modes: SSB, SSB+NOTCH, SSB+PEAK and CW. Connects to any receiver's headphone or speaker output. Requires 10-15 VDC. 7.2" x 6" x 1.7"

The Datong FL-3 contains the same filters as the Model FL-2 plus an automatic notch filter. The auto-notch function is intended for removing unwanted tones or whistles from speech signals. The auto-notch will track, then lock onto the signal. Then the LED will light, and the offending tone will disappear! Requires 10-15 VDC. 7.2" x 6" x 1.7". Both the FL-2 and FL-3 are made in England.
