    Description:
    This is an outfit of exceptional merit. Designed for use in National Guard organizations, it has proved more than satisfactory. The set has been on the market for more than five years and has been improved until it is exceptionally efficient.

    • Case: genuine cow skin, extra heavy (built for hard service).
    • Tuner: loose coupled type, tunes up to about 2,000 meters.
    • Variable condenser connected to the secondary for close tuning.
    • Detector: special construction with ball and socket joint.
    • Panel: polished black formica.
    • Compartment for phones on the left of the panel.
    • Outfit furnished with buzzer and piece of tested mineral.

    When used in the field, this set is usually operated with a kite aerial (single wire, about five hundred feet in length), but it also gives good results with the usual field antenna.
