Description:
Premium-quality variable condensers of approved heavy construction (not cheap mail-order types).- Aluminum containing case: 5 inches in diameter.
- Plates: heavy aluminum, geometric progression design for scale with respect to wave length (same principle used in commercial and government equipment).
- Average stationary plate diameter: 3¾ inches.
- Plates are approximately twice as thick as those in cheap condensers.
- Shaft: steel with bronze bearings.
- Stationary plates supported by strong aluminum frame casting.
Cases are oil-tight (oil may be used to increase capacity if desired).
