  • The Dynaco Stereo 416 Amplifier with the PAT-5 BI-FET Preamplifier. The earlier version of the PAT-5 was introduced in 1974 and was updated later with improved specifications, uniformity, and sound in several ways, and now called the PAT-5 BI-FET. They are a moderately priced system with exceptional performance.

    The PAT-5 BI-FET Preamplifier has 13 transistors, 120 or 240 VAC operation, Rack 13.5" W x 4.25" H x 11.75" D, weight 13 lbs, $300 USD.

    The Stereo 416 Amplifier has 70 transistors, 120 or 240 VAC operation, Rack 19" W x 7" H x 14" D, weight 59 lbs.

    Both models were available as factory assembled or kit form.
