The Edison Model X is a 4-minute phonograph fitted with the diamond "B" or optionally the sapphire "N" reproducer. It was made in 4 different versions:
- Model AX from Oct. 1913
- Model BX from Nov. 1913
- Model CX beginning 1914, and
- Model DX from July 1914
Models AX thru CX use the low-yield Gem motor, model DX employs the better Fireside motor.
