Coin-operated cylinder phonograph, circa 1900. Already at the end of the last century there were several versions that worked with the introduction of a coin, which however did not allow, like modern jukeboxes, a choice between recordings. The phonograph shown here is the Edison Bijou model.
Reiss lists this as manufactured from 1901-1908 and very rare with an estimated value of $12,000 USD (2007).
Fonografo a cilindro a gettone, 1900 circa.
