A choice of two external loudspeakers was offered - the Ekcone at 5 GBP or the Ekcoil at 11 GBP extra. These were fed from a tapped output transformer via a capacitor.
A supply was available for speaker field excitation fed diectly from the ac mains.There is also a DC mains version.
