  • The Troubador 598 II is a 3-speed belt drive turntable fitted with pneumatic chassis suspension.

    Model 598 is equipped with:

    • high precision synchronous motor
    • Empire 990 dynamically balanced precision tonearm.
    • Empire 1000 ZE/X cartridge

    Light included in the arm rest.
    Dyna-lift end-of-record magnetic lifter.

    Version II of the 598 is a transition model: some have the pop-up 45 rpm adapter but some don't, some show the old logo and some the new one, some also have two speeds only like model 598 III. Some have a hand written II on the identification label.
