    Equivalents

    Silvertone 6485, RCA VS086, Burgess U30  NEDA 213, IEC 30F20, A415, Eveready 415, Drydex 502, Pertrix 8102, Siemens S102.

Modern replacements use Alkaline button cell stack. Early versions used "tin plate case" and may have been introduced after card cases discontinued on "Layer cell" packs. Later versions use plastic casing.

A replica can be made with 14 x CR2032 Lithium coin cells (16 will fit in the package, since there is less droop, 14 rather than 15 x 3.2 is the more accurate nominal voltage, arranged in four stacks 12.8mm high in the 14mm internal depth ). A Pico fuse required to avoid fire risk (fits inside package). The coin cells can be as cheap as €15 per hundred from Asia. Capacity of CR2032 is 150mAH  to  240mAH at lower drain
