  • A portable mains/battery 6 valve radio covering MW (187-570kHz) and LW (1100-1900kHz) housed in a rexine covered wooden case, the back and around the dial in imitation lizard skin. Internal ferrite rod aerial, sockets for external aerial and earth. Released April 1955, price £15 10s 0d plus purchase tax, batteries extra.
