  • Notes
  • The 3 band VHF Transistor Portable "Gauer's VHF" for Longwave 200 - 400 KHz (kc), Broadcast 550 - 1600 KHz and VHF in AM was made in two versions as model 6220 and 6221. We know that there is a difference in the VHF air band: either 118 to 136 MHz (mc) or 108 to 136 MHz for the other model. We don't know yet which model number represents which band. The set was also distributed in the USA by Scot Air Inc., Illinois (according to an add in 1963). We don't know the manufacturer. In Switzerland it was sold by Gauer Electronic Zürich but surely not manufactured.

Langwelle, Mittelwelle plus VHF-Bereich 118 - 136 MHs resp. 108 - 136 MHz je nach Modellnummer zum Flugfunk-Empfang. (VHF-AM!). Das rote Firmenschild lautet auf L. Gauer Electronic, Glattalstr. 135, Zürich 11/ 52 (Tel. 051-46 77 69). Der Plan (vom 10.10.62) lautet auf 6220, das Gerät (mit dem Plan) auf 6221. Das Modell 6301 trägt hingegen Glattalstr. 155/159 in 8052 Zürich mit gleicher Tel. Nr. auf grau-blauem Grund.
