  • The General Electric 160 is a 5 tube AC/Battery operated portable BC band receiver.  The BC band frequency tuning range is 540 to 1600kHz.  Has RF stage and built-in loop antenna. Also has vibrator circuit that generates B+ voltage. Battery used is Willard 2V No. 25-2 rechargable type or equivalent. Receiver has built-in battery charger.  Bias cell used in output tube grid circuit. Plastic cabinet color is Maroon.
