  • Notes
  • Riders is showing the same schematic for the General Electric A-83 and A-85 (for IF 465) on pages GE 7-21 through 7-24. Beitman states 456 kc for the IF - this might be wrong.

The A-83 and A-85 can be fitted with a 25 cycle (C) or 60 cycle mains transformer which came in two versions, one fix for 105-120 volts (A), the other for 105 to 250 volts with 4 tappings (V). The band B (Broadcast) covers 540 - 1720 kc, the band C (Fishery, Police etc.) 1720 - 5800 kc and band D (SW) 5.8 - 18 mc.
