  • Notes
  • The General Electric P1815A is a portable, battery operated 11 transistor AM/FM Radio. Uses Qty(4) 1.5V AA batteries.  The AM band frequency tuning range is 540 to 1620kHz.  The FM band frequency tuning range is 88 to 108MHz.  Has telescopic antenna for FM and internal loopstick antenna for AM.  Also has push-pull audio output stage and earphone jack that disconnects the speaker for private listening.  Speaker 12 ohms, 0.8 Watts. Carrying Handle.

This model is similar to the P1815B model except has different transistors and resistors.

The P1815A and P1820A use the same schematic and PCB; similarly the P1815B and P1820B use the same schematic and PCB.
