  • from Radiomuseum.org
  • Model: TV Set ER-S-T56 - General Electric Co. GE;
  • Notes
  • Black/white television with 23 inch CRT. VHF and predisposition for UHF. Schematic of VHF (dashed block) is only sketched. Local/distant selector on VHF antenna input. Audio and video detection with solid state diodes. The Selenium rectifier can be replaced by a Germanium rectifier with a little circuit modification.

    From the list of tube filaments (12 because V112 1V2 is powered by the EAT transformer) we can define that the VHF tuner has the usual 2 tubes (V101 and V102 before 6CB6A V103). So we can assume that the V101 (6CE5) and V102 (9U8) shown in the list of tube filaments (and in a dashed block) are the 2 VHF tuner tubes. Note that only one of the elements of V102 (9U8) are shown in the VHF dashed block to indicate where TEST POINT I is in the circuit.

    The UHF tuner is not present.
