  • The Gertsch FM-3 has a frequeny range 20-1000 MHz. It can also be used below 20 MHz as a mesuring device only by mesuring a harmonic of the unknow signal and dividing by the proper factor.

    In 1963, Gerstch advertised (QST February 1963 page 129) a factory conversion of the FM-3 to the FM-3A to meet FCC requirements. The conversion included a new cabinet, added amplifier and speaker, and the addition of the Gertsch DM-3 Deviation Meter.
