The Hammarlund Comet Pro (Later model, Variation 3 according to Communications Receivers by Moore) covers 1.5 to 20 MHz in four bands in AM and CW (BFO).
In contrast to earlier models, the AF output tube changed to 2A5 and a BFO knob was added to the front panel.

A propos du Comet Pro.
Manuels. Il exidte les manuels d'utilisation suivants:
- Numéro 1, modèle Standard
- Numéro 2, modèle crystal
- Numéto 3, modèle AVC
- Numéro 4, modèle AVC + crystal
- Numéroi 5, modèle batteries
Autres manuels:

Le modèle AVC donne un schéma amélioré pour la partie BFO, avec plus de condensateurs, selfs et résistances. Voir Rider pour le schéma.
Mais il y a un mystère. Le bouton BFO n'existe pas. Sur la face AV figure le BFO switch et à l'intérieur un levier qui fait varier la note. Les réglages sur le modèle AVC sont: accord (3), tone, AF gain & on/off, BFO switch, MF gain, AVC switch. A l'intérieur, BFO lever. Aucune photo connue de moi ne montre un "BFO knob".
