  • Notes
  • The Harman Kardon model Festival D-1000, a FM-AM tuner and top-quality 30 watt amplifier, is the first Hi-Fi receiver with a combined technique of the Williamson amplifier plus an Ultra Linear output stage. As far as we know the Williamson amplifier was not patented and could be used freely. Gnereal Electric produced a 30 watt amp like this but with the original KT66 tubes. Reception of the Festival D-1000 is FM 88 - 108 MHz and AM broadcast 550 - 1650 kHz.
