  • The Harron Labs Fire Pal is an AC/DC operated, 7 tube FM receiver.  It was used by Fire Departments, volunteers and people interested in monitoring the Fire Department radio calls.  The FM band frequency tuning range was different for different parts of the country.  Some of the typical frequency ranges are 153.7-155MHz, 152-162MHz. The squelch was adjusted using a knob located on the rear of the radio.  Had 300 ohm external antenna input.
