  • The Heathkit AA-2010 is a vintage 4-channel quadraphonic integrated amplifier first introduced in the early-1970s (approximately 1972). It is unique for featuring two completely independent preamplifiers and power amplifiers within a single chassis, effectively functioning like two separate stereo units that can be used for quadraphonic sound or multi-zone audio.

    According to documentation from eBay and enthusiast forums, the AA-2010 has the following power ratings and performance specs:
    Dynamic Power Output: 50 watts per channel into an 8-ohm load (65 watts at 4 ohms; 30 watts at 16 ohms). 
    Total Harmonic Distortion: Less than 0.25% from 5 Hz to over 45 kHz. 
    Frequency Response: -3 dB at 9 kHz and 14 dB at 20 kHz. 
    Input Sensitivity: Phono is 2.2 millivolts; Tape and Aux are 180 millivolts. 
    Signal-to-Noise Ratio: -65 dB for Phono and -75 dB for Tape/Aux. 
    Circuit Design: Uses a quasi-complementary design with MJ2841 output transistors.
