The AR-1219 is a low cost receiver with expensive looks and features. The right choice for your first system. When it comes to giving you performance at an economical price the      AR-1219 is hard to beat! That's because we've taken years of audio engineering experience and designed them into a simple, low-cost receiver that really performs. Our careful engineering ensures that annoying colorations and imperfections, evident in many low cost systems, just aren't there. Impressive features the AR-1219 offers are: rear panel jacks for easy access to all inputs and outputs and clearly labeled speaker connections to avoid confusion. A swivel-mounted antenna provides excellent AM listening and there are
connections for an external 75- or 300-ohm FM antenna. For extra convenience, there's a tape monitor and a headphone jack with speaker disconnect switch.
Quality AM and FM tuner sections exhibit performance and specifications almost
unheard of in receivers in this price class. An extra-wide slide rule dial assures easy tuning for both AM and FM. And a stereo pilot lamp alerts you to stereo FM reception.
The AR-1219 is easy to build even for a first-time builder. Metal case with brushed aluminum front panel and stained walnut-veneer end panels.
