HF All-Mode Transceiver with 20 Memory Channels SB-1400

• alternative name: Heath Company

HF Transceiver. The SB-1400 is a feature-packed transceiver that delivers 100W of PEP output on all nine HF amateur bands, with 100kHz-30MHz general coverage reception.
An SSB/CW/AM and optional FM transceiver, the SB-1400 features dual VFOs along with 20 memory channels. These channels can store mode and skip-scan status allowing for auto resume scanning of selectable memories, controlled from the microphone up/down keys. In addition, you can store independent transmit and receive frequencies on 18 of the memories for easy recall of split-frequency operations.
Behind the SB-1400's convenient front panel layout are many standard features including narrowband (500 Hz) CW and wideband (6kHz) AM IF filters, a switchable 20dB receiver attenuator, a clarifier, and a noise blanker for better reception under harsh conditions. You'll also appreciate that the transmitter power amplifier is cooled by an internal fan and is enclosed in its own diecast aluminum heat-sink chamber, which allows for full power operation of FM and Packet, RTTY, AMTOR and SSTV.
Tuning is a snap with the user-selectable coarse and fine tuning steps provided in each mode: 25Hz and 2.5kHz for SSB and CW, 1kHz and 100Hz for AM, and 5 and 12.5kHz for FM with the optional FM Module.
