  • Notes
  • The Heathkit RF Signal Generator model RF-1 was made in the USA. This is the 220 volt version as model RF-1E which might have been adapted or made in the UK. At least Europe ist the destination market but also in Italy one can read the scale for Gloucester ENG. Maybe it has an ECC81 instead of a 12AT7. We can establish that it was sold in both years, 1961 and 1962, but believe it was perhaps known before and sold in further years too. The model RF-1U would be quite a differerent construction and appeared later.

We have two contradictionary informations regarding the range:
AM modulation extern and intern. Intern AF output. Frequency ranges: 100-320 kHz, 310-1100 kHz, 1-3.2 MHz, 3.1-11 MHz, 10-32 MHz, 32-110 MHz (no FM !). Or 100 kHz to 220 MHz in 6 bands.
