The " NEON " TESTER Invaluable to Every Serious Experimenter
The " NEON " Tester has been designed to enable the experimenter to carry out quickly and without the aid of expensive apparatus many tests of the component parts of his apparatus would otherwise be impossible. It can be used for all the following purposes:
- To TEST and CALIBRATE fixed and variable condensers.
- To TEST and CALIBRATE grid leaks and high resistances.
- To TEST and MEASURE the capacity and insulation of Aerials.
- To TEST any wireless, apparatus for insulation and self-capacity
- To TEST the E.M.F. of H.T. Batteries.
- As a pole indicator to find the + or - of D.C. Mains; it will also show whether the current on the mains is A.C. or D.C.
The instrument is of Henderson quality both in materials and finish: replacements of the Neon tube, when necessary, are easily obtainable, and the upkeep cost is infinitesimal.
