  • Notes
  • The Hp 6265B is a constant-voltage/constant-current power supply (0-40V,0-3A max). This model uses a transistor series-regulator combined with a triac preregulator for high efficiency, excellent regulation, and low ripple and noise. The output of this power supply can be varied from zero to full rated voltage or current by using coarse and fine voltage and current controls on the front panel or can be programmed remotely by resistance or voltage inputs to rear panel terminals. Crossover from constant voltage to constant current operation occurs automatically when the load current exceeds the value established by the current control settings. Additional features include built-in overvoltage crowbar protection; remote error sensing: and auto-series. auto-parallel, and autotracking operation. The crowbar trip point adjustment and associated overvoltage indicator are located on the front panel.

Beside the U.S. standard unit for operation at 57 to 63 Hz, 115 volts; the option 005 is intended for 50 Hz operation and option 028 stands for rewiring for 230 +/- 10% operation.
