    The attenuator sections are miniature tantalum nitride thin-film T-pads on sapphire and alumina substrates.

    HP 8495A 0 - 70 dB, 10 dB steps.

    HP 11716A interconnection kit allows the 8494A and 8495A attenuators to be cascaded as shown in the photos to achieve greater range in 1 dB steps.
