    Solid-state, AC 4-speed auto/manual 4-piece stereogram, having 15 silicon transistors and eight diodes, twin channel amplifier with transformerless push-pull output, delivers 6 watts per channel (12 watts total RMS power). Complete unit comprises control unit in teak; playing desk in teak with translucent lid and two teak speaker units.

    Features: control unit houses radio tuner (525-1650 kHz) in compact shallow cabinet; can be used as bookshelf unit. Playing desk, independently housed in totally enclosed matching cabinet. Speaker units - each houses heavy duty duty twin-cone 8" wide range speaker in acoustically designed vented enclosures for full stereo effect.

    Record changer is BSR Type UA70 having 11" turntable, 4-pole motor, counter-balanced arm, calibrated stylus pressure gauge, cueing device. Pick-up is BSR Type C1 ceramic (cartridge type PC22); diamond, stereo and microgroove styli, Type HV6D.

    Additional facilities: jacks for microphone input, left and right channel input, speaker terminals are provided at back of control unit cabinet together with PU terminals, ceramic and magnetic equalisation switch. (FROM MINGAY'S PRICE SERVICE)

Further to the model notes, the case is veneered particleboard with particular attention to finishing the exposed edges. The front is aluminium and perspex (or similar) with provision for some inputs. The speaker and aerial connections are on the rear together with the pickup connections and selector switch. There is a DIN connector, presumably for a line level connection.

The circuitry is mainly contained on three separate circuit boards, one for the RF stages, one for the pickup equalisation and third for the stereo output stages. The four output transistors are on a heat-sink separate from the AF circuit board.

The power supply filtration components are also discreetly mounted and some tone control components are mounted on the appropriate rheostats.
