  • This is a portable radio that could be used as a car radio by inserting it into a special under-dash cradle. It could be used in vehicles with 6 or 12 volt electrical systems, positive or negative ground.  When used as a car radio, the output power increases to 300 mW (6V) and 500 mW (12V).  An external speaker, model ES-60, was supplied for installation in the car.
