Das Modell - Operation Panel "OP-221" von Hitachi ist ein Camera-Steuergerät , Teil und Komponente einer professionellen Studio-Anlage (Equipment im Bereich Fernseh-Studio).
Das Gerät ist über ein 41 pol. Systemkabel mit der Camera verbunden und übernimmt bei Betrieb im Studio - Stromversorgung, Anpassung und Steuerung der Video Film-Camera: Hitachi Color Camera "FP-21"Die Camera FP-21 benötigt für den Betrieb eine stabilisierte Versorgungsspannung von 12 V. Der "Power Regulator" Model (AP-40, 12V/3,5A) übernimmt diese Aufgabe und wird wie ein "Rucksack" an der Rückseite der Camera "steckbar" befestigt.
Das Stahlblechgehäuse hat frontseitig (rechts und links) stabile Befestigungswinkel für den Case- oder Rack-Eibau (19 Zoll).
