  • The tone generator connects to a VHF transceiver to generate the tones required for repeater access. When enabled, it produces a 500 ms burst of the selected frequency at the start of each transmission. A continuous tone is also generated if the push button is pressed.

    The following repeater access tone frequencies can be selected by the rotary switch:
    1160 Hz
    1165 Hz
    1595 Hz
    1750 Hz
    Tone accuracy +- 2.5 Hz.
    The output amplitude is adjustable up to 12v pk-pk.

    The tone generator is powered from the transceiver to which it is connected.

    Built in an Eddystone diecast box.
