The QUMO Moby (often stylized as Qumo Moby) is a compact, legacy flash-memory digital MP3 player released in the late 2000s by QUMO, a consumer electronics brand popular primarily in Eastern Europe, Russia, and parts of Asia for its budget-friendly multimedia players, flash drives, and mobile accessories.
At the time of its release, the device was marketed as the world’s smallest MP3 player with an FM radio, equipped with a two-color OLED screen. It was available in versions with up to 1 GB of built-in memory.
The player features 6 equalizer presets, a clock, a restore function, and the ability to update the firmware. The distributor and brand Qumo purchases digital music players from the manufacturer Hyun Won for the Russian market. Accordingly, it applied its “Qumo” logo to the device’s casing and adapted the packaging and user manual. Similar Hyun Won players were sold in other countries under the international brand MobiBlu.
