  • Push buttons for six pre-set radio stations and no manual tuning. Option of six different selections of pre-set stations available, each indicated by a one character A - F suffixed to the model number.

    Factory or Dealer Preset Station Options to order (2x LW & 4 x MW):

    • A: Droitwich, Luxembourg, North Regional, London Regional, Midland Regional, Normandie.
    • B: Droitwich, Luxembourg, North Regional, Scotish Regional, Welsh Regional, Normandie.
    • C: Droitwich, Luxembourg, Athlone, Midland Regional, West Regional, Normandie.
    • D: Droitwich, Luxembourg, Athlone, Scotish Regional, Scotish National, Lyons.

    • S: Droitwich, Luxembourg and four Medium wave stations tuned to customer's instructions.

    Brochure lists options A .. D & S, but Trader Sheet 355 also has options E & F. Each button's associated pair of coils have a limited tuning range. But the only difference to the suffix code is the Factory (or Dealer for S)  preset tuning. There is no difference to the coils which tune as below.

    Buttons from Right to Left at front:

    1. MW1 200m to 300m
    2. MW2  200m to 300m
    3. MW3: 290 .. 410m
    4. MW4: 390 .. 540m
    5. LW1: 1000 .. 1400m
    6. LW2: 1450 .. 1900m

    Consumption 80W. Three voltage settings.

    The station Presets use Permeability tuning. There is no manual tuning. Controls are tone and volume/on-off.

    Piano finished Walnut cabinet. Pilot lamp above loudspeaker.

    P.U. (High output Gram) and external Speaker sockets.

    Requires external Aerial and Earth, though  C25 optionally connects mains to Earth or Aerial so should be 1nF 1KV rated safety (Y) type.
