    It resembles the "Zenith style", for example, see model Royal 500.
    This style also may be found in round grille models (see Jewel, Hudson) and square grill models (see Jewel, Ambassador, Cosmopolitan).

    The Zenith style is less evident in the horizontal variants.

    Note that related companies, Jewel Radio Corp., Gem Radio & Television and Fidelity Tube Corp., went bankrupt in late 1953 and the assets, including brand names Jewel and Gem, were purchased by Datom Industries, Inc. in early 1954.
