    The printed diagram shows only one of the two channels, therefore the number of transistors cannot be specified. The model can be equipped with two power supply models: 220 V 50 Hz only or 100 to 230 V, 50/60 Hz switchable.

    An Italian collection of circuit diagrams lists the model under Nivico 1668 U/F for the year 1971, although there is no evidence that the model was actually launched in this year. Publications from the manufacturer such as advertisements, on the other hand, list the Nivico 1668 cassette recorder as a novelty for 1973.
