  • Notes
  • "This new KB permanent-magnet loud-speaker has been specially developed to meet the requirements of the listener who wishes to operate an additional speaker in conjunction with an existing receiver.
The K B 626 speaker is an instrument of the highest grade, giving reproduction of superb quality and capable of delivering large volume without overloading. It is housed in a cabinet of unusual elegance, soundly constructed of figured walnut with delightfully contrasting zebrano reliefs."

A permanent-magnet of high flux density provides for exceptional sensitivity and an 8 in. high-fidelity cone in conjunction with a special corrugated centring device-an exclusive K B feature-gives an acoustic performance which is remarkable for its realism.
The speech coil has an impedance of 4 ohms and the speaker, which does not incorporate an output transformer, is suitable for use with any receiver having a low impedance output of 2 to 5 ohms.
