  • Kriesler Model 121-65 Hi-Fi Royal Console 

    A 23" console receiver having 16 valves, nine germanium and two silicon diodes. Uses Kriesler Super Fringe power chassis No. 79-5C. Cabinet on short legs, finished in maple, walnut or rose mahogany; gold trim. Complete with "Triple Throat" sound.

    Features: power-driven 13-channel turret tuner, operates by remote control or press-button on receiver. Automatic geographic aerial selector selects aerial required as channel is changed. "Computer-matic" guardian circuit automatically maintains picture quality and stability, minimises distortion. "Computer-matic" digital channel indicator shows channels as they change, selected channel is illuminated.

    "Triple-Throat" remote control - three position sound location switch for sound from receiver and earphone, or from earphone only. Continuously variable volume control operates on remote speaker, receiver sound and earphone. Channel changing by pressing buttons. Controls for brightness and off. Two sockets provided for earphones. Handle for hanging remote unit on hook, or standing on chair when listening.

    Speakers: three in main receiver (Magnavox 10P1, 6S2, 64S1) with press-button switch for choice of two or four; remote speaker in remote control unit (Magnavox 4TC), also earphone. Automatic noise suppression; automatic range finder; curved tinted safety screen. (FROM MINGAY'S PRICE SERVICE)
