The tubes used are not to be confused with the so-called glassmetal" type. Every tube in this amplifier is of ALL- METAL construction. Six of the latest multi-purpose type are employed: a 6J7, a 6L7, a 6C5, 2-6F6's and a 5Z4 rectifier.
All connections and controls are so designed as to allow anyone to operate this amplifier. Simplicity is its keynote. Engineering knowledge is not essential. All one has to do is to follow the instructions, exercise some every-day commonsense and the amplifier will do the rest.
Model 145-A Lafayette 15-Watt All-Metal Tube Amplifier, less tubes and screen, but with output transformer.
