Lafayette engineers have been busy adding still more outstanding features to this unit. Among them is a new variable tone control which adjusts high frequency response to compensate for acoustical differences; three input channels are provided to accommodate any type of microphone or phonograph pick-up device. Fader control permits instantaneous fading from one low-gain channel to the other; mixer-gain permits mixing mike channel with either of two low gain channels. 

The amplifying unit slides in and out of its carrying case easily and may be mounted for control any where to the limit of its connecting cable. Tubes used include: I-6J7, I-6C5, 1-6N7, 2-6N6's and 5V4 rectifier. Maximum usable gain on mike 140 db on high-gain channels, 95 db on low-gain input. For greater sound coverage first speaker is hooked up to amplifier and second speaker is connected to first adding length without diminution of audio output. Each speaker has 25 cable. 

Housed in an attractive airplane luggage carrying case which will stand plenty of rough usage. Finish is light tan Fabrikoid with dark brown striping.
