  • Notes
  • A DeLuxe Short Wave Receiver which is guaranteed to out-perform any short wave receiver money can buy. Employs a new circuit which eliminates critical tuning and suppresses tuning hisses and other disturbances which are ordinarily the provoking evils of short wave reception. Tunes 14 to 115 meters, but additional coils are available which extend range 9 to 2000 meters. Briefly the circuit employs a vari-mu tube in a TRF stage, followed by a vari-mu detector which is also tuned and a 227 audio stage feeding two 245s in push-pull in the output stage. Tubes used: 1-'27, 2-'35s, 2-'45s, and 1-'80.
