  • A perfected portable home and studio recorder that has everything in the way of a performance that could be desired and at the same time is available at a price within normal reach. For direct and “off-the-air" recording, for auditioning, for P.A. work. Widely used for advertising and commercial purposes. Invaluable as a study aid for singers, speakers and instrumentalists, especially for improving radio technique, voice and diction. Records on acetate or aluminum discs at 78 r.p.m. and plays back any record up to 12 inches.

It incorporates a three-stage, high-qain amplifier using five glass tubes. In operation the amplifier is equalized for both recording and play-back circuits. The tracking mechanism is of the positive-gear under driven type. 96 lines per inch. Cutting head is adjustable for needle angle and depth of cut. 12" turntable is rim-driven by heavy duty G.E. motor having close regulation. Waver is completely absent.

A Jensen 8" electro-dynamic speaker is part of the cover which can be detached for optional placement. The output into the speaker is 4 watts with a maximum distortion of 3%. As an aid to precision recording the amplifier includes a high-grade meter for visual monitoring. The complete assembly is carried in an attractive Spanish-grained leather case equipped with corner guards, sturdy carrying handle and snap locks.

W22100  Vibro-Master Studio Recorder complete with built-in amplifier and Jensen 8" electro-dynamic speaker, tubes and carrying case. Less mike. For 110/120 volts, 50/60 cycles a.c.
