    Hand‑held rechargeable passive marine radar detector for yachts and small craft. Detects X‑band marine radar (≈ 9.3–9.5 GHz) using a directional superheterodyne receiver with a GaAs FET front‑end amplifier for high sensitivity and low noise. Provides audible and visual alerts of nearby radar‑equipped vessels within a radius of several nautical miles. 

    Subject of British Patent Application No. 8320022 (1983) and a UK Ministry of Defence secrecy‑order dispute after New Scientist reported similarities to Exocet missile guidance principles.
