  • Luxor Wire recorder M102 with built-in 78 rpm record player. Wire spools with 15, 30, 60 and 75 min duration available, dimensions according to de-facto US industry standard of the time. 60 min time counter. Record player pickup of magnetic type for steel needle.

    Manufactured under license from Armour Research Foundation, USA. Audio inputs and outputs via octal connector, for connection to Luxor radio chassis. No built-in recording amplifier, the power amplifier of a compatible radio drives the recording head via an auxiliary winding on the radio's output transformer. The preamplifier of the wire recorder is used for wire playback, for the pick-up and as a microphone amplifier at recording.
