  • The following text is copied from the "The Marconiphone", Cat. No. B.200, for price £ 4:2:6, the page with also a Wavemeter: "The Marconiphone Series Rejector Instr. does eliminate interference from a neighbouring station operating as near as three miles away. It is specially designed for use with any receiver.

This rejector will give better eleimination than can be obtained by any ordinary tuning method, and also counteracts jamming by spark stations.

It covers broadcasting wave-lengths and higher ranges by means of loading blocks, one of which (for Daventry) is supplied with the instrument. It is very simple to operate. The panel and the easing are of very excellent finish."

The loading block is plugged in on top left and in most cases it is lost by now. There are two versions, one from 1924 (see photo) with two pollers and the one shown on the mentioned catalog for 1925, showing the block for station Daventry. The main knob is also slightly different, the plugs for the block seem to be differently placed.
