Marconiphone V2T is a two-valve reflex TRF (Tuned Radio Frequency) receiver that emerged as a technical development of the renowned V2 and V2A models produced by Marconiphone in the early 1920s.
The V2T model is believed to have incorporated minor circuit or tuning modifications while retaining the core design, including user-adjustable regeneration for enhanced sensitivity, and selectable tuning via plug-in coil blocks enabling operation across both broadcast (390–530 metres, 768–565 kHz) and long wave (1300–1700 metres, 230–176 kHz) bands.
