  • The Heterodyne Frequency Meter Type TF 897 uses teh tube (triode-hexode) X24 and a 500 kc/s crystal type TA18113. The TF897 is for both, for setting up the frequency transmitters and for checking the calibration of receivers. The fundamental bands are 100-200 kc/s and 1000-2000 kc/s, but a continuous cover of 100 kc/s to about 25 Mc/s may be secured by the use of harmonics.
